Raschig Rings

Raschig rings are specially used in Chemical Industries, by providing several advantages such as low pressure loss, good efficiency and economy. Like all types of ceramic tower packing manufactured by celene, raschig rings are produced in dense low porosity chemical porcelain, totally free of metal (Fe), which offers maximum resistance to thermal shock. During manufacturing process, quality assurance testing is conducted in order to allow a constant satisfying efficiency in the tower operation for many years.

Cross-Partition Rings

Cross-Partition Rings are used to create the support grid for the ceramic tower packing. They should be arranged in a “square form” or in an “intercalary disposition” in the base of the tower. The other types of ceramic tower packing, such as saddles (celenox or berl) or rings (pall or raschig), shall be placed above them randomly.

Pall Rings

It’s a diversification of the Raschig Rings, which offers increased contact and obstruction areas to the fluids. Besides, Pall rings also offer lower pressure loss. They should be used when the braking capacity required is greater than the one offered by raschig rings.

Lessing Rings

Lessing rings are used when heavier loads of ceramic packings are required. Their special design and wall thickness allow the structure to support hard efforts.
